Rocky Mountain Latest; Three Teams at 2-0
Colorado, BYU, and Colorado State are all 2-0 now in the Rocky Mountain DIA conference.
Colorado State defeated Air Force 52-31 in an entertaining game. The Rams opened up an adventurous style of play and Sam Masterson's kicking from the hand and the tee were exceptional.
BYU swept two games from their Utah Rivals, ringing 70 on both Utah Valley and Utah State in successive days.
Colorado won big over Wyoming 70-5.
Captain and outside center Charlie Quinn was very effective and led the team well; fullback Charley Bradley converted all but two tries; freshman lock Whit Harlin was a force on defense and his second row partner Matt McCarthy was the key lineout jumper and worked well there.
Like Colorado State, Colorado's first win was actually a forfeit from New Mexico, so this was the first game for the Buffaloes in over two years.
