Mose Timoteo has been everywhere and done almost everything in American rugby.

He was a part of a championship Hayward Griffins club, and then transferred to SFGG and helped them win, too, and then transferred to the Glendale Raptors and helped them win, too. Often the smallest guy on a team of big blocks of stone, Timoteo didn't back down from anyone and continued to play at the highest level of the game well into his 30s.

Timoteo's Hayward club made the national DI final in 2000. His SFGG team made the Super League final three years in a row, winning twice. He helped lead the Collegiate All Americans to a 7s territorial championship in 1998 at 22, helping launch an increased interest in developing college talent for 7s.

Capped for the Eagles 32 times, his last time when he was 35, Timoteo was a scrumhalf throughout his career. However, he often had trouble breaking into the Eagles at that position, and on several occasions ended up in a USA jersey as a wing or fullback. He was pretty good at those positions, too.

Enormously popular among the playing community, knowledgeable, quick, sharp-minded, and a leader, Timoteo played a superb #9 for some of the very best teams in the country when they depended heavily on his ability, and enjoyed a national team career that spanned 13 years.

It's no surprise that he became a coach, because he was basically a coach on the field for years.
