Washington State University Tri Cities won the Northwest Collegiate Rugby Conference Cup 7s tournament in Bend, Ore., and has qualified for the NCRC 7s Championships this coming weekend at Central Washington University.

The NW Cup 7s was a competition of smaller programs in the Pacific Northwest. WSU Tri Cities defeated Central Oregon 27-5 in the final. Southern Oregon topped Oregon Institute of Technoligy 21-0 to take the Plate, while Seattle University took the Bowl and University of Idaho the Shield.

By winning this tournament, WSU Tri Cities will take on the bigger programs at the NCRC championships this weekend; the pools for the Oct. 17-18 competition are as follows:
