South Carolina Wins Chesapeake 7s Series Opener
University of South Carolina won the opening Chesapeake Conference 7s tournament of the season, beating James Madison 14-7 in the final.
Played in snowy conditions at Towson University, the tournament included six teams from the Chesapeake and several others from outside the conference (including USC).
JMU took the most points for the Chesapeake Conference series, with Towson and Mount St. Mary's also earning points.
