The Rugby Texas girls HS season is at its halfway point, and Plano has rocketed to the lead.
The teams play 7s to make sure that all teams can make the numbers, and play a series of small tournaments. Plano swept the field on Saturday in Austin, getting pushed by Kingwood but beating Alamo Heights, Woodlands, and Pharr with convincing scores.
For the season, Plano is 7-0, while HEB, Pharr, and Woodlands are all 5-2. HEB holds the tiebreaker over those other two thanks to two close losses.
In the social division, Eagle Mountain/Katy leads with a 6-0 record.
