Pac West Selects Picked for Game with Durham U.
The Pacific Western Conference has named its squad of 25 players to face Durham University in June.
From the North of England, Durham University which has a very successful rugby program and two of their recent graduates have signed with pro clubs in England. They are on a four-game tour of California.
The Pacific Western Lions will assemble June 11 for a five-day camp before playing the tourists at UC Santa Cruz on June 16.
“There’s a lot of enthusiasm from the players and the coaches in the conference for this,” said Lions Head Coach Lucas Bradbury. “It’s been about three years trying to get this off the ground. But we’re doing it. We know we’ll beep against it playing Durham Univetrity, but we’re looking forward to it.
