Twelve teams met on a beautiful day to compete in the New Orleans Collegiate 7s Tournament this past weekend.

The second year of Tulane's early season tournament brought in a talented field of teams. The day provided all a great opportunity for teams to test themselves against other quality sides and play teams that aren't in their normal divisions or conferences. Teams completed in three rounds of pool play before being seeded into Cup / Plate / Bowl.  

At the end of the day LSU won the hotly-contested Cup, as well as the prize of a custom set of 7s jerseys from Belief. They defeated Lindenwood-Belleville in the final.

3rd: LSU-Alexandria (LSUA)

4th: Saint Louis University (SLU)

Plate winner: Alabama

Plate runner up: Mississippi State

7th: Tulane

8th: Ole Miss (sportsmanship award*) 

Bowl winner: Univeristy of Alabama-Birmingham (UAB)

Bowl runner up: LSU- B-side

11th: Spring Hill College

12th: University of South Alabama (USA) (motley)
