The 50 players at MLR Rising are in camp.
There are three changes. Lindenwood prop Asher Webb, UBC scrumhalf Jacob Bourne, and Central Washington center Calvin Liulamaga all picked up injuries. Replacing them are two players from Saint Mary's, Lleyton Delzell and Hunter Chulhanstaff, and University of Ottawa's Jamie Armstrong.
The players picked up their kit and checked into dorm rooms at University of Mary Washington, and wrapped up the day with a meeting run by MLR Competitions Manager Aaron Castro and some words from coaches.
After that, the players were split into the teams they will train for, with their coaches going over some technical and team-building things.
