The big moves in this week's rankings are with the Service Academies.
Both Navy and Air Force showed quite well in the four-team, double-double-header weekend in Charlotte. Navy beat Clemson and pushed Life, and Air Force, while losing to Life by a big score (join the club), the Zoomies beat Clemson. We've nudged LSU and Oklahoma up, while MTSU drops after a loss. We'll see if MTSU bumps back up - it can happen depending on how the playoffs go for their conference, and it'll be interesting to see how Cincinnati builds on that win.
This year sees many more college teams load up on tough schedules - ASU, St. Mary's, BYU, Utah, Air Force ... the list goes on. That will help us hugely in the rankings. Air Force is, in fact, a crucial connection, as the Zoomies played Life last week and Cal this week - you don't see a lot of East-West crossover, even in the better-funded DI teams, so this sort of thing is welcome. Lindenwood playing St. Mary's, and then going into the Mid-South is another crossover that will help.
