And this weekend we found out the Liberty Champion, which is RPIRPI Takes Liberty D2 Championship

Hit with a red card in the first half Loyola was up against it and while they scored two tries against Northern Iowa, UNI ran out comfortable winners 67-12. So UNI is #1 in the Great Midwest and Loyola #2.

Towson finished off their wild run as the #8 seed in the MARC, winning three games in a row to take the conference. They did it Saturday with a 40-36 win over top seed Villanova. The self belief in the Towson side is something to behold, but it's also thanks to their depth.

"I would say that the main key for the game was our impact subs definitely the energy around as we started off slow in the first half but came alive during the second half," said club president Sean Cornell.

Zach Uhler and Aidan Parson scored key tries to spark a second-half comeback, and with both of those tries being converted, they were able to get back into the game. A key steal by George Siarkas also helped. And finally, TK Sullivan finished it off with the game-winner late.

Both Towson and Villanova will be in the Rund of 16.

And finally, St. Louis University had their toughest conference game of the year in the Gateway final, as they inched past UMS&T 18-16. This game came down to the wire and could have gone either way.

For both S&T and Liberty #2 Marist, they will noth have to stay home despite being within a try in their conference finals. Meanwhile, three 3rd-place conference finishers and one 4th-place conference finishers make the NCR playoffs.
