Men D1AA Spring 2025 Rankings Week 7
While this past week's results didn't really change the top rankings, we do have some shifts further down in our Spring D1AA Top 25.
Central Florida beat Florida and as the same time South Florida did relatively well against St. Thomas. So we want back to take a closer look at UCF, USF, and UF. Those three have all played each other, with all three being 1-1 against each other. Now, we could rank them according to the team with the best points difference (Florida-USF-UCF) but since Central Florida got the big result most recently, we're going to work from there. Central Florida is ranked 1st among those three, but we squish them all together.
And, again, the NCRC gives us trouble. This time, following Washington's win over Oregon State we take a closer look (again). Boise State, Oregon State, Washington, and Oregon got their results tracked against each other. Boise State is clearly the top team among them at 3-1, with that loss being several months old. Oregon is 1-3 against the other three, and Oregon State 2-3. Washington now really is clearly the higher-ranked among UW, OU, and OSU. Oregon State drops out and Oregon, which had been close to Washington twice (one win each), stays in.
But this could be changed again. Really the Huskies, Beavers, and Ducks are all pretty close.
