Northern California HS Club Finals

Danville (MS#1) 34 Granite Bay (MS#3) 31

This was a thrilling match. Danville ran out to a 10-0 lead, and then Granite Bay reeled off four spectacular tries to lead 24-10 at halftime. Danville fixed their ball-retention problems, scored four tries to lead 34-24. Granite Bay scored late, and had Danville pinned on their tryline at the end of the game. Danville hooker Lorenzo Richardson broke through to relieve pressure for Danville and they eventually kicked to touch to end the game.

Bishop O'Dowd 45 North Sacramento 31

In a wild and contentious match that saw North Sac end the game with 13 players, Bishop O'Dowd prevailed. North Sac actually scored several times while short-handed, but too many turnovers in contact cursed them.

Xavier 37 Greenwich 36

In a battle of #5 single-school v #7, Xavier just survived, kicking a penalty with time up to win it.

Royal Irish 12 Penn 3

The #2 HS Club beat the #2 Single-School in a wet, rainy game in Indianapolis. The game was delayed 45 minutes for lightning, and in a mud pit, the Royal Irish prevailed.

North Carolina

Union County 43 Charlotte Tigers 19

Raleigh 22 Chapel Hill 14

The two undefeated teams in North Carolina stayed undefeated and will play next week for 1st in the regular season.

Utah

Olympus 42 Highland 28
