The USA High School All Americans finished Day 1 of the Rosslyn Park 7s 2-2 in pool play.
In a demanding schedule where the teams played once every hour, the US team started their effort with a solid 28-12 win over Nottingham HS. They then were tripped up 14-12 against Cowbridge Comprehensive before losing 33-0 to Ysgol Gyfun Y Strade from Wales.
They finished off their run by beating Hurstpierpoint College 42-14.
It was a weird day in the pool as three teams ended up 2-2. Had the HSAA team been able to beat Cowbridge, they might have won the pool, as Cowbridge finished 4-0.
