HS All Americans Slam BC U18s
The Boys High School All Americans finished off their British Columbia trip with a convincing victory over the BC U18s Saturday.
The 54-3 (score confirmed) win wasn't a shutout like it was on Wednesday, but the HSAA team did hold BC tryless, finishing the trip north with a 2-0 record and a points for-and-against of around 102-3. Overall, the decision to split the HSAA team into an East team and a West team seems to have paid off.
The East HSAA team traveled to Ontario and won twice (see here and here for details), 27-14 and 38-5. In addition, the Eagle Impact Rugby Academy teams were at the UBC campus at the same time as the HSAA West team, and they also beat their counterparts. There's a strong argument for taking those U17 and U16 players on tour in the East, as well.
Overall, the HSAA teams beat their Canadian counterparts four times, allowing just three tries, and scoring 167 points. The EIRA teams also went 4-0.
