Harvard Wins Crimson 7s, and Toy Drive
Harvard won the Crimson 7s, with their A-side going 4-0 on the day and beating Brown 14-7 in the final.
Freshman Lennox London led the team with 11 tries while Victoria Stanley added six tries.
The try Brown scored in the final was the first points Harvard allowed on the day, as they shut out AIC, Princeton, and Sacred Heart on their way to the championship game. Sacred Heart beat Quinnipiac 19-12 to take third, while Long Island held off AIC 14-5 to take 5th, the Plate.
The tournament was also a toy drive for children being treated at Massachusetts General Hospital in Boston, and the event received donations of over 100 toys for the kids.
The NIRA teams will go through April with a series of tournaments—Davenport, West Chester, AIC, New Haven, Princeton, UNE, Adrian, Long Island, Quinnipiac, and Bowdoin will all host tournaments.
CRAA will then host a crossover elite championship with NIRA teams and D1 Elite teams in Houston in the first weekend of May.
