The 2020 Girls High School Rugby National Tournament for single school teams scheduled for May 16th-17th has been canceled due to the COVID-19 virus pandemic.  

Like many tournaments and rugby events, the GHSRNT waited to see if things might change soon, but the stay-at-home orders and suggestions for people around the country, along with an indefinite ban on rugby from USA Rugby, there was never going to be enough time for teams to prepare even if rugby returns soon.

However, it doesn't look like it's going to be back in short order, and with travel freedom, liability insurance coverage, and public health all uncertain, it was time to cancel the event.

Host venue Notre Dame College will be returning registration fees. Organizers expressed the hope that NDC would be able to host in 2021.
