Last weekend South Greenville capped off their MSIRL season with two games in Georgia.

With time limits for age-grade players in place, South Greenville played two 45-minute games on Saturday, one against Phoenix of Alpharetta, and one against the East Cobb Trojans.

South Greenville defeated Phoenix 27-10, and were upended 17-9 by East Cobb. It was the Trojans' first MSIRL victory of the season.

In the second game, the EC Trojans showed tenacity on building pressure and Scored in the 11th-Minute with Junior All American loosehead Muhammed Abdullah dotting the down the try. Flyhalf Declan Wilson converted 7-0.

S.Greenville showed their experience and EC Trojans mishandle the kickoff and were penalized and South Greenville slotted the penalty. Following the restart , the Trojans retained possession and pressured South Greenville again. Flanker Jared Lentin went over to make it 12-3 South Greenville added a penalty to make it 12-6 at halftime.

In the second half, the East Cobb Trojans again pressured and put the ball through the hands. Center Matt Slone weaved through two defenders to score in 32nd minute. With not much time to go and down 11 at 17-6, South Greenville was able to get a third penalty goal, but nothing further.
