Minnesota's Eagan High School boys rugby team recently finished up with an overseas tour of Wales, Scotland, and England to begin their upcoming 15s season. 

The boys began the tour playing games against St Peters, Llanishen, Fishguard, and finally finishing with Bilton School. Eagan began their tour in Wales and finished their tour in Rugby England at the Old Laurentians RFC. 

Eagan started the tour off with an adjustment match against St Peters. The jet lag from the trip may have took a bit of a toll on the boys, but they turned it around through the end of the trip ending with a ten score win over Bilton School. 

Bilton began the match in the midst of preparing for a game with a new combination of players, as they were a combination of U16s collaborated with Rugby St Andrews and the Old  Laurentians to field a side for the match. 

Bilton School will be looking to return the favor in two years, as they now will begin planning a trip to Minneapolis Minnesota in the near future. 

Eagan now is looking to start the season at the Border Battle tournament in Wisconsin Dells, where they will face five time state champions Edina. As well as a nationally ranked Chargers RFC out of Wisconsin. 

The tournament is a top tier high school tournament consisting of teams out of Wisconsin and Minnesota. A high performing Minnesota side of teams consisting of Eagan, Minnetonka, Edina, and Hopkins. Will take on an equally as talented Wisconsin side of the Chargers, Pulaski, Middleton, and the Valley Crusaders. 

The two day tournament begins this Saturday and will finish up on that Sunday.
