DIAA college teams are on the field this weekend with the Mid-American and the Mid-Atlantic (MAC and MARC, respectively) opening up conference play.
Several other teams have non-conference games against DIA opposition.
Notable in the conference games, Towson and Delaware are new to the MARC, and face off against each other. Towson had been playing in the Chesapeake, and has just moved over. Delaware was in the DIA Liberty, but found a better geographic situation in the MARC.
Meanwhile, St. Joe's takes on a very tough Rowan side.
In the MAC, defending champs Bowling Green play Dayton, while conference newcomer IUPUI, up from DII, takes on Cincinnati in a clash that will show us much of what the newcomers can do.
Dartmouth faces Army in a non-conference game on Sunday. Army will have already played Irish touring side Trinity, so this will be a big test.
