The College Rugby Association of America’s (CRAA) has announced its D1A All-American Team for the 2022-2023 Season.
Six of the players named to the D1A All-Americans have been drafted by Major League Rugby in 2023. A total of twenty-three College Rugby of Association of America players were taken in the domestic competition’s 2023 draft class.
Of the players named, 12 were Rudy Scholz Award nominees, with 2023 Scholz Award winner Lewis Gray named as outside center.
"We are honored to announce the 2022-2023 D1A All-Americans,” said Paul Keeler, CRAA President. “The selection process is driven by input from our coaches and conference commissioners, who are dedicated to creating high performance experiences for our student athletes.”
“The sheer number of high performance athletes in D1A make these selections more difficult each year,“ said Paul Santinelli, D1A Commissioner. “We are grateful for the collaborative effort by our D1A Conference Commissioners and coaches, who invest the time in selecting these special players and creating an experience of a lifetime.”
