D1 Men's College Rankings Week 6
D1 Men's College Rankings Week 6
Well is Army really the #1 team in the fall?
Until they lose, probably. They certainly looked their unflinching, pitiless best against St. Bonaventure over the weekend.
The only change in the top 12 is BYU easing ahead of Life thanks to a really strong outing against both Colorado and Colorado State.
The GoffRugbyReport Rankings are brought to you by Next Phase Rugby, which is an app that connects college rugby programs (all kinds, including student-run teams) and HS rugby players. It's a good, detailed, and safe way to help you with your college search OR your recruiting efforts. Go to NextPhaseRugby.com to download the app and get started. Many dozens of colleges are already on the app.
Thomas More moves up more and Colorado, despite a loss to BYU, gets a boost because this was a competitive performance against a really strong team. The big surprise, maybe, was Mount St. Mary's, ranked #30, winning 11-0 (weird score) over Mary Washington (13). MSM moves up 10 and UMW moves down 10 (the fact they move the same number of spots is actually a bit of a coincidence). Real concerns about Mary Washington as they haven't scored a try in over 160 minutes of rugby.
Most of #21 to #39 is a bit of a tossup. We might see enough crossover to give us some more info.
