Cal won their second-straight Varsity Cup with a 44-13 defeat of Arkansas State Saturday in Santa Clara.

Cal led early through a try from freshman wing Sam Cusano, and added tries from prop Kevin Sullivan and fullback Aidan Flynn for a 19-3 halftime lead. Russell Webb converted two of those tries, and added a try of his own in the second half on a kick-and-chase. Cusano added his second and now Cal led 33-3.

Arkansas State finally got a try about midway through the second half, when center Sione Fangaiuiha powered over. But there was too much to do. Webb added a penalty and Cusano added his third try before ASU's Dylan Boast try went over. That ended it at 44-13.
