Boys School HS Rugby Rankings Week 4
As you can see, we've got a lot of empty lines under "Notes" and of course that's because those teams aren't playing.
They will soon. We've got the Ra Puriri Invitational going on in a couple of weeks in St. George, Utah, which will help, and more games coming along in Northern California. North Carolina's school league enters the playoffs, and then SoCal does the same. Meanwhile, the weather should improve in Texas and more games get going there.
We were really, really tempted to put De La Salle at #1 but we'll wait for an additional result or two to see if they can still shut down strong teams such as Mother Lode (who, you'll remember, beat Jesuit Sacramento). Cardinal Gibbons moves up into the Top 10 and that's what happens when you top 50 twice in a row and limit your last two opponents to eight points, in total. But as we've said before, there are so many more games to come Gibbons fans should expect a drop.

South Meck nudges up. We were thinking long and hard about putting Ardrey Kell in the Top 50 after a good win last week. But the problem is, AK's wins have largely been forfeits, and their losses haven't been especially close. So the upcoming playoffs should help us. Even if Ardrey Kell loses to South Meck, what if they are competitive? If they lose 36-20, that says they should be ranked. If the margin is large, then maybe not.
