Big Result for WWU
Big Result for WWU
Western Washington opened their NCRC season with a bit of a statement result, shutting out Boise State 55-0.
Boise State is suffering from some injuries, but this was still a head-turning scoreline.
Former Canada U18 and WWU freshman George Pritchard scored two tries and added five conversions in his conference debut, making his tally 20 points on the day.
Lyndon Bailey, a USA U18 and former captain of the San Mateo Wolverines, also made his conference debut and was outstanding. The lock was a force in the lineouts and set his side up for their attack.
Charlie Funk scored three tries on the wing and WWU found space and opportunities out wide.
Next up for WWU is University of Oreon and then University of Washington.
It's early days in the NCRC conference, but this was still a result to remember for the Vikes.
