BGSU, Louisville to MAC Final
BGSU, Louisville to MAC Final
Bowling Green will face University of Louisville in the final of the Mid-American Conference after both won semifinals in the snow on Saturday.
Bowling Green over Western Michigan
In a matchup known for its tight results, Bowling Green took better advantage of some the brutal conditions and rolled up a 26-0 lead before the Broncos got on the board late in the first half. Western put up two more tries in the second half, but a pushover try by BGSU No. 8 Jake Hudak iced the semifinal and a 31-15 Falcons victory.
Louisville over IUPUI
In the second match a surprising IUPUI squad pinned the University of Louisville down inside their own 22 for the first 20 minutes of the game. The Jaguars, however, came up empty-handed, getting no points for all that pressure.
After they finally worked their way out of their own end of the field, the Cardinals were able to score, eventually pulling away 40-7.
The Broncos and the Jaguars meet at 11:00am on Sunday in the consolation match while BG and Louisville face off in the Mid American Conference Championship at 1pm.
