All-Time Americans List: Mari Wallace Triplett
Known more as having played under unmarried name, Mari Wallace, Mary Triplett played hooker for the USA from 2006 through 2010, being capped by the USA Women's 15s team 10 times.
Wallace Triplett was a superb defensive player and strong in the set piece. She was part of the very strong USA team in the 2006 Rugby World Cup which went 4-1 and finished 5th, losing only to England. She ended her career helping the Eagles once again take 5th in the 2010 tournament.
She was an All American for UC San Diego and was quickly into the USA pool while still in college.
After graduation she was a key part of the success of the Berkeley All Blues, Beantown, and San Diego Surfers during a sterling career in the domestic game.
Intense, aggressive, and a positive influence and sparkplug for every team she played for, she was one of the very best in America to put on the #2 jersey.
