One of rugby's most intelligent and accomplished individuals, Liz Kirk has excelled at everything she has done, from playing to coaching to her professional life to her medical career to her career as an educator and college professor.

You'd do well to listen to Dr. Elizabeth Kirk when she speaks on any topic, but even if you limit your judgment to her playing, you have one of American rugby's true greats. A prop who was the heart and soul of the Seattle Rugby Club throughout her career, Kirk was capped 23 times by the USA despite not earning her first cap until she was in her 30s. 

Hardworking, tireless, and exceptionally fit and strong, Kirk earned her final cap when she was 45. That's not easy to do.
