Air Force Academy Men Looking to Hire a Head Coach
The US Air Force Academy men's rugby team is hiring a Head Coach.
The Service Academy is not a varsity program as is West Point and the US Naval Academy, but it was the first Service Academy to win a national championship, taking the USA Rugby D1 title in 2003.
It has a long rugby history and alumni support is now being focused on paying for a Head Coach and using that to bring the program into the upper echelon once again.
Air Force plays in D1A's Rocky Mountain Conference and this past fall took 3rd in the conference with a 3-2 record, behind BYU and Colorado State.
The Zoomies then went on to win the Hub City Bowl over Southern Virginia in the CRAA Fall Classic.
