The United States Air Force Academy defeated San Diego State 46-18 to finish their fall 7-1.

The Zoomies' only loss was 19-17 to Army at West Point on October 31.

"We played well," said Air Force Head Coach Joe Muehlbauer, whose team held sway in the set piece and in the rucks against an Aztec forward pack playing their first 15s game of the season. "SDSU is just starting their 15s season and I think they will be a much different team after a few more matches."

The Zoomies performance was led by No. 8 and captain Garrett Jameson, who scored three tries, including one when the Air Force scrum shoved SD State all the way back into in-goal. Scrum half Victor Woo and centers Ben Bermester and CJ Johnson were effective both on offense and in defense.

"San Diego State and Coach Alex Licthig were great hosts and it was awesome to play in the warmth of San Diego at the end of our fall season," said Muehlbauer.
