Downingtown Flag Rugby Camp
The Downingtown Rugby Football Club will sponsor the 5th Annual Downingtown Flag Rugby Camp on Tuesdays through Thursdays, June 24 to July 17, from 4 to 5:30 pm at Hickory Park in Upper Uwchlan Township, Chester Springs, Pa.
The camp is open to boys and girls age 11 and under. No previous rugby experience is necessary.
Flag Rugby is a fun way for youth to get a first introduction to the sport of rugby. The co-ed, non-contact form of rugby uses flags. Skills, including running, kicking, passing, space strategy, and teamwork will be developed. There is a cost per child, with a discount for each additional sibling.
