GRR: Utah State
Last year’s CRAA Women’s D1 Fall Final saw Navy edge Davenport 20-12, but it’s possible that total of 32 points could be bypassed in the first 40 minutes.
Navy is back and faces a largely unknown and very dangerous Utah State team. Yes Navy has an excellent defense, but they can also score—boy can they score—and USU can score, too.
The CRAA Women’s D1 College final eight are set and the teams will face off this weekend to decide who plays in the national final December 4 in North Carolina.
Colorado State University moved to 2-0 in the West DIA after an impressive 30-26 defeat of the US Air Force Academy in Colorado Springs.
CSU now leads the West DIA and is the only team not to have suffered a loss.
Utah State recorded their first DIA win in beating Wyoming 27-20 on Saturday, giving the program a nice boost in their first season in the new level.
USU opened their West DIA season with a very competitive 29-17 loss to Air Force, and considering Air Force’s wins over Utah and Navy of late, that result was not a bad one.
And so we’re down to eight teams in DIAA, and it’s time to make some picks.
