Several USA players had very good seasons for their pro teams, but it's hard to argue against former SFGG player Samu Manoa. He starts every weekend for the Northampton Saints, either at lock or No. 8; he is enormously popular mong the fans; he is among the most valuable players in the Aviva Premiership; and his Northampton Saints are defending Premiership champions.

Manoa's ability to run in the open field and his power and strength in tight, as a rucker, a tackler, and a mauler, is as good as anybody's. Put that combination in the body of a lock, you've got the best of the United States playing overseas.
