The Cardiff Blues are visiting three different American youth teams this summer, bringing world class professional coaching to various programs throughout the USA.

The Blues, who play in United Rugby Championship, will be sending a team led by Level 4 former Wales U20 Coach Dai Rees who has worked with the Dragons in Wales and the Hong Kong Union Welsh. He is joined by other top coaches. Cardiff is also making a big push to give American coaches an opportunity to get out on the pitch and work side-by-side with them and sharpen and expand their skills as teachers of rugby.

These camps are open to all teams and all players in the 13-18 age group (7-12 for the Celtic Elite camp in late July).

The Cardiff Blues All Star Rugby Camp will visit Cleveland Ohio, Hollidaysburg Pa., and Towson Md. through July for three three-day camps for boys and girls aged 13-18. Players will learn and develop core skills, get a lot of reps, see the entire field, receive direct feedback, prizes, and free T-shirts from World Rugby Shop.

They will then return to Ohio for a Celtic Elite Youth Camp for Boys and Girls aged 7-12. In this camp players will learn from Andy Skehan, the mastermind behind the world's top rugby development school, St. Michael's College, Dublin. Skehan has been described by Ireland national team star as a coach who "gets the best out of his players. Any organisation that Andy is a part of benefits." Rugby East collegiate players and MLR academy leaders will combine to provide an electrifying experience packed with skill-building, strategy, and passion for the game.
