While 4-0 Washington plays a non-conference game against the formidable Central Washington team, seven more NCRC teams face off to try to catch the Huskies.

Three of those teams have not lost a game yet, and therefore are in the best situation to do so. Western Washington is 1-0 and hopes to come out of the weekend 3-0, playing at Eastern Washington on Saturday and Gonzaga on Sunday. The Vikings are looking sharp and are favored against an EWU team that is 0-2, and a Gonzaga squad new to to the DI level.

Washington State is 2-0, and takes on the Boise State Broncos, which haven't lost a game because they haven't played a conference game. But Boise State is building something in Idaho, and could be a tough task for the Cougars. 

"We have a very young team, but have seen a lot of talent in this year's new group of players," said Boise State co_Head Coach Matt Genetti. "Over half of our starting side will be playing in their first NCRC 15's league match so tomorrow will be a good test against an always solid WSU team.  After four weeks of practice we're looking forward to getting out on the pitch and I think we'll learn a lot about our team in this first match."
